ARE XRAYS NECESSARY FOR ORTHODONTICS?

  • Dental radiographs are necessary for orthodontic treatment. They aid in visualization of the mandible and maxilla, detecting pathology, assessing bone levels, and observation of root angulation.


  • Proper imaging must be obtaining prior to starting orthodontic treatment, as it is a critical component of the treatment planning process.
